From the Screamsheets, 10/13/2018
Hello! Welcome to From the Screamsheets, where we take a look at where R. Talsorian Games is being talked about on the intertubes! Today, we’re turning our digital eye inward as we peek at our site.
We’ve been updating our website quite a bit in the past few weeks. Some of the changes are visual, while others are structural. Among the changes…
- There’s a slider at the top of the landing page which highlights five of our game lines (The Witcher TRPG, Cyberpunk, Mekton, Castle Falkenstein, and Teenagers from Outer Space).
- There are nested menus at the top which lead to pages for our game lines, our storefronts, downloads, and information about the company.
- We’ve also updated both our DriveThruRPG page and our webstore to better visually match our main site.
In addition to updating the visuals, we’ve also updated and added a number of new pages to the site to help gamers better understand our company and our games!
- Each of our six major game lines (The Witcher TRPG, Cyberpunk, Mekton, Castle Falkenstein, Cybergeneration, and Teenagers from Outer Space) now has its own page, all of which have been expanded to better describe the line, provide links for purchase, and visual flair.
- We’ve divided our About Us page a bit. There’s now a specific Contact Us page, a Social Media page listing our Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Discord information, and a page sharing bios and pictures of the R. Talsorian Games crew.
- Beneath the slider on the landing page are links to three “featured” pages. The first is a list of Actual Plays which feature one of our games. If you have done an Actual Play of an R. Talsorian game, either in audio or visual version, and want us to feature it, please contact us and let us know!
- Next, we’ve got the R. Talsorian Developer’s Logs. That’s where we’ll be keeping a master list of notes about our games from the designers! Look for logs about Cyberpunk Red in the future!
- Finally, we’ve got a master list of From the Screamsheets, in case you need to locate a past example of our weekly roundup!
A special thanks to all Talsorian Rexes everywhere, who have joined with us as we continue our revival and march into the future! See you next week!
any plans to bring back the talsorian forum? it was after all a model for civil discourse on the internet 😉
If there’s enough demand for it. To be honest, there’s nothing quite so sad as a hardly used forum and, these days, there are so many other avenues of communication…
