“Hey there, Everybody! This is Cody Pondsmith again. I’m hopping on to talk about a change to the Kickstarter. Your support has been tremendous and now that we’ve cracked $20,000 we thought it would be nice to offer a new tier and a new reward that, hopefully, should be very exciting.
The Shadow Scar Bundle + Character Art Tier will included a copy of the Shadow Scar Core Rulebook, a copy of the Starter Set, and PDFs for both products. In addition, the tier will include a collection of high quality art prints from the book. But the truly exciting part is next. Our official Character Designer, Dolan Pondsmith, will work with everyone who pledges at this tier to draw their personal Shadow Scar character.
This tier is limited to 10 backers, as we don’t want to overload Dolan, and the cost is $249. Just like the other tiers, you will receive the PDFs when fulfillment begins. This is also when the production of the art will begin. You’ll need to fill out a character form, the more detailed the better, which will go back to Dolan. She will go over the form and produce a full body, full color picture of your character based on what you told her in the form. When the art is finished we’ll send you a high resolution JPEG of the image and when you receive your physical rewards we’ll include a high quality art print.
We had originally not intended to do anything as far as Stretch Goals but with the support we’ve been getting we want to offer more options to the community. Hopefully, this will be interesting to some folks. If it is, we have also considered adding another tier if we hit $30,000 where I will run a private game for you and your gaming group.
