We’re ramping up to the June 17 physical release of Night City 2045 with a weekly series of articles offering a sneak peek of the book! And in case you don’t yet know, Night City 2045 is our next big release for Cyberpunk RED. As the title suggests, it is a sourcebook all about Night City in the year of 2045.
I’m J Gray, line manager for Cyberpunk at R. Talsorian Games, and it is my privilege to be your guide on this journey into the Dark Future. Let’s begin this multiweek trip with an outline of the book … and if you read to the end, you might get a treat in the form of never before seen art!

The Meat of the Book
The districts. Each district begins with an introduction and information about the city manager, population, security provider, and recent history, then moves onto specific locations, each with a Security Code. Districts end with short biographies of interesting personalities important to the district and stat blocks of archetypical character types you might encounter there.
Note: “Mapped location” below means the location is pinned to the district map. Many locations have sublocations noted in their listings.
