A New Face Arrives – Welcome Charlie in to R. Talsorian Games!

Hi everyone!

If you’ve never met me before, my name is Charlie Eberspacher, but many of you here in the community might know me better as Emmerron. I have been a content creator in the Cyberpunk and broader TTRPG space since 2023 when I started my Cyberpunk Red Neon Inferno actual play. In the time since, I have managed to do a lot within the industry, from helping at convention booths, to playtesting games, to running whole game rooms at conventions for various companies. I have also gained a lot of secondhand experience in the design of games through meeting a great number of talented people, both industry veterans and newcomers, and getting to talk with them on the podcast I run with Diamond Dust, the Wireheads Podcast.

When I was a tiny child holding my first Game Boy with a copy of Pokémon Yellow, a dream of working in games started to grow in me, and I would pursue this all the way until I was about halfway through college. Having just finished my focus on Game Art, I realized I didn’t want to be part of the video game industry in any real capacity with the way it was evolving around that time. I spent the rest of my time in college working through a focus in print, imaging, and video, and when I came out the other end, I was uncertain where I was going to use the degree I had just earned professionally. Fast forward to the start of my freelance career as a content creator about 8 years later, and I had my answer: I wanted to write for and work on TTRPGs.

A few weeks ago, I got to realize that dream by getting a job with R Talsorian Games as their Sales and Convention Support Manager. To join a team of kind, intelligent, and experienced people like this is something I have hoped for since I first worked with the company at Gen Con 2023, and now that I’m here, it’s more than a little surreal. Already, I’m getting busy with planning some cool things on the Sales end of things (you’ll see these soon enough, Rob will let you know) as well as working with conventions that want to support our games. If you’re a retailer, distributor, or a convention looking for support, get in touch; I would love to talk to you!

I’ll still be around the community. I have the current season of Neon Inferno to wrap, and I have a lot of stuff I want to do with the new Cyberpunk TCG, but overall I will likely be that face you see more around conventions and less in other parts of the year the deeper I get into things with my role. If you do see me around, whether online or in person, feel free to say hi! I promise I’m friendly.

Well, better get back to the invoices. I’ll see you all very soon. Until next time, peace!
