From the Screamsheets, April 2020

You might be busy collecting fossils for your island museum but you can still read From the Screamsheets, our top of the month look at what’s going on with R. Talsorian and our games.

This month, we’ve got a special Cyberpunk Red game run by Maximum Mike Pondsmith himself, some free stuff and a lot of stuff on sale, and a chance to get your cyberdigits on some gorgeous miniatures for Cyberpunk Red early!

Mike’s Game

While GaryCon was canceled, they moved some games online. After a session got scrubbed due to technical issues, Mike Pondsmith ran a full session of Cyberpunk Red on Monday the 30th of March! Playing were Monster Fight Club’s John Kovaleski as the Nomad Two-Tall, Luke Gygax as the MedTech Lucky, our friend Beast as the Solo Paladin, Realmsmith’s Jason Azevedo as the Solo known as Isolate, Noura Ibrahim from L.A. By Night as Rockerboy Nox Arya, and Matthew “Shaggy” Lillard reprising his role as the Netrunner known as Cereal Killer.

You can watch the session at the link below. It does end on a cliffhanger but we plan to continue and will let you know when that happens!

Monster Fight Club Minis

Monster Fight Club had originally planned on selling advanced sets of their Cyberpunk Red miniature line at GaryCon but that couldn’t happen. Instead, they set up a virtual booth and now everyone gets to buy them! There are three sets available. The two Jumpstart sets will eventually go to retailers but the Team Monster set is limited time only. You can also buy the minis individually. One neat individual item is the Maximum Mike with Cyberdog. The Mike miniature is limited time, just like the Team Monster set, so grab them while they’re hot!

You can find the Cyberpunk Red miniatures for sale here:

Anglers from Planet X

If you’re looking for something to do while you’re self-isolating, consider picking up Teenagers from Outer Space, our anime comedy RPG. The PDF is currently free from DriveThruRPG!

Better yet, we just released the first new supplement for TFOS in… well… ever! Anglers from Planet X completes the TFOS experience by adding the most important aspect of any (sorta) Japanese RPG: a fishing minigame! And guess what, you can pick this one up for free as well!

While you’re at DriveThruRPG, consider grabbing some of our other fine products! Every single thing we sell there that isn’t already free is now 50% off and will be until around the 20th of this month. That includes the entire Witcher line as well as the Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit. Now’s the perfect time to complete your digital collection and do some gaming at home!

That’s it for this month, everyone! Until next time, keep your swords sharp, your bonk hammer handy, and stay safe on the street!
