From the Screamsheets, 4/7/2019

You may be mixing random chemicals in your quest for the mysterious cities of gold, but you can still read From the Screamsheets, our weekly look at the best R. Talsorian Games content the NET has to offer!

This week we’re speaking Italian, revisiting April Fool’s, and, of course, holding our weekly trivia contest. Enter and you’ve got a chance to win a free RTG PDF!

Let’s get going.

There are Elves in the Woods…

The Grains of Truth Actual Play campaign of the Witcher TRPG takes a break from the main storyline and focuses on an all elf based one shot. Will humans suffer the wrath of these dedicated Scoia’tael? Watch and find out…

GAMA Trade News, Italian Tradition

If you prefer your RPG news in Italian, you might want to visit Tom’s Hardware, where they recently posted quite a bit of information on what R. Talsorian Games got up to at the GAMA Trade Show, including our announcements for the future…

When is a Joke Not a Joke?

Like so many RPG companies, R. Talsorian Games posted something silly on April Fool’s day. We announced a supplement called Farms and Fields, a 400 page land care supplement for The Witcher TRPG.

While Farms and Fields was, of course, a gag, the Peasant Profession PDF was not. Players of The Witcher TRPG are free to download the PDF and make use of it in their games. We do add the caveat, however, that this Profession isn’t fully playtested, so there might be a few issues which need addressing in terms of skill tree power levels. Consider it Cody Pondsmith’s own homebrew!

Counting Down to 2020

If you didn’t know, we are counting down to the year 2020 in honor of our signature roleplaying game, Cyberpunk 2020. Each day, we post a fact about the Cyberpunk universe on all our social media channels, as well as in a few other choice locations! If you’ve missed any and want to catch up, we have a month by month gallery right here on our blog!

The current topic is Gangs of Night City, which will run until 4/16. After that, we’ll be looking at Melee Cyberweapons for seven days and then the very stressed out Night City Police Department.

The Trivia Contest!

And, finally, our weekly trivia contest!

At the end of each From the Screamsheets, we ask a trivia question and invite people to send in their answers. From the correct answers received, we randomly pick one winner to receive one currently published R. Talsorian Games PDF of their choice. Last week’s question:

One of the biggest inspirations for Castle Falkenstein is the novel Prisoner of Zenda by Anthony Hope. Of course, Castle Falkenstein wasn’t the only thing inspired by the classic book! An entire genre of fiction, Ruritanian Romance, was named after the fictional country in the book! In fact, one of the most famous leaders of the last two centuries wrote a book in the genre. Who was this leader and what was the title of their novel?

Answer: Savrola, written by Winston Churchill

This week’s winner is Bradford Yurkiw, who will be receiving a PDF copy of the Witcher Tabletop Roleplaying Game!

Onto this week’s question!

It is called HP in The Witcher TRPG, damage in Cyberpunk 2020, hits in Mekton Zeta, and Health in Castle Falkenstein but what is the damage pool in Teenagers from Outerspace known as?

If you think you know the answer, fill out the form below! We’ll pick one winner at random from all the correct answers and send them their PDF of choice. Please remember, only PDFs currently for sale can be chosen as a prize.
