Hello, choombas! We wanted to update you with a variety of news points. Let’s jump in!
Core Rulebook Reprint
As many of you know, an increased demand for Cyberpunk RED last year depleted our stock of the game’s core rulebook. We’ve been working hard to secure a printer and produce more and, we’re happy to say, we now have a rough release window. We expect to begin selling physical copies of the Cyberpunk RED core rulebook from our webstore beginning at the end of March 2023. Expect to see it in US stores a few weeks after that! Non-US stores will take longer due to the realities of international shipping. The PDF is, of course, available via DriveThruRPG.
Black Chrome Release and Previews
We’re excited to say Black Chrome, the first style and tech guide for Cyberpunk RED, has finished printing and is on its way to our warehouse.
If all goes well with transport and weather, we will begin selling the physical book from our webstore on Monday, February 27. It will also be available as a PDF from DriveThruRPG on the same day. In addition, it’ll be uploaded to Bits and Mortar, so if your local hobby/game store is part of the program they can give you the PDF as soon as you place your pre-order.
Speaking of Black Chrome, if you can’t wait until next Monday, there’s several locations to preview the contents. You can begin with our Black Chrome sneak peek blog posts, where we’ve done pretty detailed breakdowns of what you’ll find inside.

Cyberpunk in the Hall of Fame
Finally, we wanted to share some amazing news! Cyberpunk (the entire game line) is being inducted into the Academy of Adventure Gaming Arts & Design Hall of Fame!
This is a huge honor, as Cyberpunk will be joining such luminaries as Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Cthulhu, Traveller, Settlers of Catan, Munchkin, and Pandemic.
Cyberpunk will be formerly inducted at the Origin Game Awards Ceremony on June 23, 2023 during this year’s Origins Game Fair.
